Each day, GNS handpicks only the most impactful stories. Because our partners are VOA, RFA, RFE/RL, OCB and MBN, as well as a growing list of trusted media partners around the world, GNS confidently stands by the journalistic credibility of the stories and packages we distribute to our partners.
Currently, GNS curates, translates, and distributes these stories to Chinese- and English-speaking audiences impacted most by a daily barrage of malign information. With decades of journalism experience, GNS’s editing team uses emerging technologies and strategic insight to find partners and their audiences, particularly within regions in the Global South, where this information is prevalent and fact-based content may be underrepresented. GNS collaborates with local media, independent content creators and social media influencers within these markets to help them access diverse, reliable information.
The GNS news feeds are customizable, enabling partners to choose topics most relevant to their audiences, and they seamlessly integrate into newsroom systems with features like real-time updates and easy API integration. GNS is always exploring new delivery methods, analytical tools and platforms to enhance how news content reaches diverse audiences.
GNS’s services are provided at no cost to our registered partners, making high-quality news accessible to all. Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, GNS plans to expand its focus and offerings to continue empowering media organizations and audiences around the world with trustworthy, impactful news.
GNS is funded by a grant from the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM), a U.S. agency that oversees all U.S. civilian international media. All editorial decisions are made solely and independently by GNS editors.
